The Apostle Paul prays for the Ephesian Church that God would grant them spiritual wisdom and insight so that they might know him better.  Here are Paul’s words in three translations.

NIV – ” . . . that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him”

NKJV – “ I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”

NLT – “. . . asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. “
